The Spark-Lite Fire Starter is lightweight, dependable and simple to use. It is small and light enough to be carried just about anywhere. Starting a fire is as easy as pulling a waterproof Tinder-Quik from the plastic case and igniting it with the Spark-Lite. The Tinder-Quik tab will burn for 2 to 3 minutes giving you plenty of time to start a fire.

Tinder Quik Fire Tabs

Tinder-Quik Fire Tabs are the perfect compliment to your Spark-Lite Aviation Survival Fire Starter and assure you of plenty of fire starting ability.

Each Tinder-Quik Fire Tab is specially treated to ensure that the cotton is waterproof and provides more than enough burn time to start a fire. Each tab will burn for 2 to 3 minutes. Each bag contains 10 Tinder-Quik Fire Tabs.

Tinder Quik Fire Tabs are a great compliment to any fire starter and do not have to be used in the in the Spark Lite Aviation Fire Starter. Many of our customers purchase the Tinder Quik for use in an assortment of flint and steel fire starters.

Ranger Firelighting Flint

The BCB Fire Flint was recently introduced to the United States by Best Glide A.S.E. It is currently in use in the UK by the Royal Air Force. You will not find a more dependable and effective flint fire starter than the BCB Ranger Fire Flint.

This flint and steel fire starter is extremely compact and is designed to pack into the smallest survival kit. Scraping the flint produces a shower of sparks suitable for lighting tinder. The flint is designed for years of use and the striker can be used as a small knife and saw. This flint and steel survival fire starter is standard issue in British Armed Forces survival kits.

All BCB Flints are specially impregnated with magnesium to produce hotter, larger sparks. The BCB Ranger Firelighting Flint is GSA Approved.

Tinder Cards are flammable pieces of impregnated material. When pulled apart, the Tinder Card shows its fibrous nature. This allows it to be an excellent complement to a flint and striker fire starter.

Once ignited, the emergency tinder burns slowly like a candle. Only a small amount is required for a survival kit. This tinder packs smaller than similar products or fire starting alternatives.

It is important to have a fire starter in an emergency situation, however, you must also have something to light that will burn long enough to be useful. This is the purpose for the BCB Tinder Cards.
