Quality Assurance
Taylor Devices' facilities are in compliance with Military Standards
MIL-I-45208A, MIL-STD-45662, and NASA Specification NHB-5300.4(1C).
In addition, we are an approved source by most of the major Defense
Contractors in the U.S. and Canada. In 1994, Taylor Devices' facilities
were certified to ISO 9001 Standards by Motorola, Inc. On a captive
basis, Taylor Devices' facilities meet Military Standard MIL-Q-9858A,
and ASME 10CFR50, Appendix B, Nuclear Power Plant Requirements.
Taylor Devices' Management has continuously improved both hardware
and software solutions to improve the quality of their products
and processes. Two of these methods are Total Quality Management
(TQM) and In-Plant Quality Evaluations (IQUE), the latter monitored
by the Defense Contracts Management Office (DCMO), Buffalo. Outside
suppliers are continuously monitored with periodic site audits performed
by Taylor Devices' Quality Assurance personnel.
